Even after waiting 20-30 minutes (with a dog on the bed) this product barely gets warm. Couldn't tell if it was just the warmth from our dog or it actually warmed up a little. Wouldn't recommend or purchase another one. (We have four dogs)

I bought this warming pad for our beagle's outdoor doghouse for the cold winter temperatures. But when I touch the pad after it's been plugged in for a while, I can barely feel that it's warm. It's more for indoor use to make an animal slightly more cozy than it is to help a dog from freezing outside.

This product does just what it says. It warms the bed. This is only the heating element though, so don't expect a cover or anything else.
At first I didn't think this was working, but after I stck inside the little cat bed and put a blanket on top it started getting warm. It doesn't really get warm until it has pressure on it, like if your cat lays on it the heat from their body and the pad work together.
My cat likes it and lays on it. If you want to spoil your cat, get it.

If these things actually get warm, couldn't tell it. Bought two and neither, after being plugged in and sat on issued any heat/warmth I could detect after 5 minutes.

They are, in my estimation, either suffering from very poor quality control or just plain poor.
