My father got these pruners for me as a gift and I have been very happy with them. The ratcheting mechanism on these pruners makes it so much easier to use then standard pruners. My pruners did initially come with a piece of the soft foam on the handle scuffed off. I contacted customer service at Jack's Tool Shed and they immediately sent me another pruner and gave me a return label to send the defective one back. I would definitely buy from them again.
