I got this for my kids for Christmas. They have had a blast playing it. They are ages 19 to 8. I would recommend this game.

The price for the Wii Rockband was fair, but I was more interested in purchasing Rockband 2. Since I didnt have any band equipment, for [...], I bought the original Rockband special edition, and for [...], I bought the RB2 game. This was cheaper than buying the Wii Rockband 2 special edition for [...]. I've also borrowed the Wii Guitar Hero guitar, and it works great with Rockband 2. The songs for RB1 is not as good as RB2.

As a side note, the microphone can be used for PS2 games like Guitar Hero World Tour.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it. He can not keep from playing it continuously. I have also purchased the Rock Band 2 dvd and he really enjoys the new music on that one as well. I would recommend purchasing this for any active child. Just be prepared for a lot of noise.

Great game for the whole family. It can be addicting though.I bought a second one just to get a second guitar and now have extra drums,mic,etc. It was less to do it this way than to pay [...] just for a guitar. I got the complete set new for [...]. What a deal. You just have to be patient.

it is a fun game, the only thing that bugs me is the guitar does not seem to recogninze when i hit the notes, and cant use my guitar hero guitar beacuse the rock band i got is for the wii. other than that it is fun.
