I ordered mine 7/21/08, and it arrived 09/24/08, for the advertised price of $1595 & free shipping.

I'll write another review once the unit is up and running, but it all looks good as it comes from the boxes!...

I purchased the JDS Cyclone 2100-CK from Amazon back in April 08. My order was finally canceled by Amazon in July because they were unable to ship. I checked the website and the product showed available for shipment. I re-ordered and a unit was shipped immediately. I received the dust collector a week later, completely destroyed by the shipping company. I reported the damage to Amazon and they told me they would return the unit but they are unable to ship a replacement due to a manufacturer backorder. I contacted the manufacturer directly and was told this is untrue. JDS claims to have plenty of stock with more units arriving this week. I explained my situation, and JDS told me that Amazon has been refusing a large shipment of their products into one of their facilities. These dust collectors are sitting in a freight terminal getting beat-up like the one I recieved. JDS claims that Amazon has been stong-arming them into lowering their pricing. JDS explained to me that they have experienced a "rising cost of material" price increase, and Amazon refuses to revise their pricing. As a result Amazon leaving their LOYAL customers (like me) dead in the water. My advise is: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM AMAZON.COM. This is a great product and JDS is a quality company. Purchase your dust collector directly from them. Call their customer service dept. Their price is $1299.00 including motor freight. Unlike Amazon's customer service these guys are helpful and appreciative of your business.
