This keypad serves its purpose just fine. The very minor negative I have to say about it is that the cover slides right off the top. When you slide it up to expose the keypad, it is very easy to slide the cover off completely. It's a bit of a pain to have to get it back on the track again. Other than this minor detail, the signal is great and we haven't had any problems with it.
Review by Robert of Niagara from Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada:
My installer will not install GENIE...this is one good reason why this keypad does not work or is difficult to work with GENIE.

I purchased this keyless garage door opener at Menards, and worked all morning trying to program it. But it did not work. I have tried everyway possible, and checked with the manufacturer's recorded instructions, and have almost memorized the procedures. But it still did not work. The instructional video at the maker's website doesn't work. It's been very frustrating, and I finally gave up and returned it to the store. Don't buy it if you want it to work with Genie door opener as promised by this product.

This clicker was very simple to program and mount. Had it up and running in about 30 minutes.
Only complaints is that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to set a temporary code besides fully changing the code (which isn't a long process). Also if you accidentally hit another button as the garage door is going up or down, it stops. Maybe these are standard functions for these clickers, but they cause very minor irritations.
