Dogswell Breathies Chicken Breast, 5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

Review by Todd Poole from Frostbite Falls, MN:
Purchased a case of these earlier last year.
My picky dog absolutely loved these. Can't hardly get him to take a dog treat that isn't in this shape, and heaven help me if it doesn't taste like this. He'll leave them on the floor rather than eat them.
Previous reviewer is correct, these don't freshen breath like a mint. They do however work great in cleaning teeth and working out those particles that hang around decaying and stinking up your pet's mouth.
This is the only doggie treat I'd recommend with 5 stars.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware, Made in CHINA -- Dogs are dying from Chinese Chicken Jerky, December 12, 2008

(REAL NAME)
These are made in China. They are probably a great treat but many dogs have recently died from chicken jerky (check the news or google) and the company that is responsible has not released all the names of the company's they represent. I would be careful and avoid this treat for now.
Intead: Make your own jerky with a food dehydrator (you can buy it on amazon also)
This is really easy, healthier for your dog and and costs less. You can get large bags of frozen, hormone free chicken breasts or tenders from Costco or Sams club.
If you partially thaw them out they are really easy to slice and make chicken jerky. Same for beef, lamb, etc. You can even use ground meats.
You can even add your own flavor (like mint and chlorophyll for breath help)
Have fun!

I like the dogwell treats, but though these seem high quality treats they don't seem to help my little dog's breath very much :) I guess you can't expect much, it is a dog we are talking about.
