My daughter hated to go on the fwy for long drives, so I bought this to keep her entertained in the back seat. There are some other DVD players with lower prices, but I chose this one because I always trusted Sony products, no matter it's as cheap as an AM/FM radio or as expensive as a laptop computer. And I was proved right again this time. It worked flawlessly. The best feature I think is the "stop and resume", which means when you press "stop" on the remote, the machine will ask you if you want to start it from the beginning (if you do, press stop again) or from where you stopped, it's quite useful if it's a long drive and you have to make frequent stops, when you come back in the car and turn on the DVD player, it will start exactly where you stopped last time.

This is great product. The picture is really good and the sound is great! I kept on half contrast like was suggested. The batterie lasted 6 hours. I would recommend this product highly.

This is our third portable dvd player. Mostly used for our young children, this player is the first one we've had with a "hold" button that prevents curious fingers from pushing buttons and interrupting play. This player also has two headphone inputs so that they can watch together with headphones.
Nice battery life and easy to plug in for television viewing. This one's a keeper.

I was pleased that this DVD player was very easy to use, haven't totally tested the battery but it made it through a whole movie and was not fully charged at the time. The picture is very clear, fun to watch.
