This unit installed very easily with a separately purchased wire harness kit. Picks up am stations that were just static before. Fm reception seems fine and the cd works well. Good sound and good price. Hope to use the Aux feature soon to use my mp3 player through it as well. Excellent value.

This has been an excellent choice after several attempts at replacing a factory radio. It has great sound quality and a more traditional interface than other Pioneer models. First, I started with a JVC model which had unsatisfactory sound quality. After several installers recommended the Pioneer line for it sound quality, I looked the DEH-P4000UB and DEH-P3000IB models. I have an iPhone 3G and DEH-P4000UB was one of the few models, from any manufacturer, that supported a direct connection that also charged the phone. I settled on the DEH-P3000IB model as a lower cost alternative. Unfortunately, the single joystick interface on the 3000 and 4000 models use is simply... a pain. And, controlling one's audio through a one-line interface is not an improvement over the native iPod\iPhone interface. The DEH-2000MP model has been the best choice.

i get this product with a lowest price, after pay taxes and shipping it stills as half price :).. Works perfect for me, had a nice sound clean, and the aux is all i need to plug my ipod.

I had this model installed several months ago when the original radio/tape unit finally died in my '94 Intrepid. It works beautifully and I've really enjoyed using the aux cable to listen to books on my pda on long trips - so much better than having to deal with changing CDs! Only one complaint and that's the display. It shows up OK and seems bright enough, but you have to be looking at it head-on - it's impossible to make out the digits from either the driver or the passenger seat. So to see it you find yourself leaning over, not the safest way to drive. It's not a deal breaker, but it is irritating. At first I thought it was something about the installation, but that's been checked. I've since found comments on other sites about the same issue, so sent an email to Pioneer to see it there's a cover or something that might improve it - no answer yet. If they have a solution, I'll update this review.

The Pioneer DEH-2000MP is easy to use. I'm very happy with the quality of this radio.
