Speedo's recreational series of masks and snorkels is a great choice for the occasional ocean snorkler or for pool use. The nearly indestructible polycarbonate lens is treated with Speedo's exclusive Anti-fog Max which ensures clear vision in all uses. The snorkel features a splash protected dry top and covered purge valve which makes it very dry and easy to clear. A high-density resin seal and Speed Fit headstrap system ensure both comfort and a great seal against any leaks.

About Speedo
In 1914, Speedo was founded in Australia by Alexander MacRae, a 22-year-old Scottish immigrant who arrived in the country in 1910. The company began when MacRae Hosiery manufacturers, established by Alexander in 1914, extended the manufacture of underwear to swimwear and became MacRae Knitting Mills. A naming competition was held by the staff in 1928 and won by a Captain Parsonson, who coined the slogan, "Speed on in your Speedos." In 1929, the first swimsuits were in production and it didn't take long for Speedo to successfully establish itself. World War II caused the brand turn over 90% of it's manufacturing to war production, providing the armed services with vital equipment such as mosquito nets. After the war, Speedo opened a new factory and was able to re-establish itself, due to increased demand for swimsuits. In 1951, Speedo Knitting Mills (Holdings) Ltd, was incorporated and became a publicly traded company on the Sydney Stock exchange.

Speedo hit the international stage in earnest, at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and a few years later the brand grew on a more global scale. Export sales to the USA began and an international division was set up to monitor trade in New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. The expansion of the brand continued, and in 1976, Speedo was appointed as the official swimwear for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where 52 out of 54 countries wore their swimsuits.

Speedo continues to make its mark in the pool and on the beach today. Many world class athletes who wear Speedo include U.S. phenomenon Michael Phelps, legendary Australian swimmer Grant Hackett, world record holder Kosuke Kitajima from Japan, and Holland's Inge de Bruijn.

Can't beat the price. The mask and snorkel are quite decent. Didn't have the off gasing issue the other reviewer complained about.

Just got back from vacation with this set(s), they worked very good and never had a problem with it at all.

I brought this snorkel mask for my trip to Hawaii. My friends had all been snorkeling but this was my first time. As a contact lens wearer I was very concerned about getting a mask that would stay tight and would not leak. This mask worked perfect. Not once did it leak or fog up and I used it about 5 times on my trip. My friend's asked to borrow mine because my mask was better than theirs. I recommend this product to anyone who snorkels.

Soak the rubber connector in hot water to make it pliable...it will stretch right over the tip of the snorkel...gotta be smarter than the tube, yo... ;)

I don't go snorkeling a lot although I do enjoy it. I purchased a few sets of these for my family for our trip to Hawaii. I recommend attaching the mask to the snorkel tube prior to taking it out for use! We had a little bit of a struggle putting it on but luckily were able to attach it with the use of my Swiss army knife. Besides that, the snorkel worked well!
