These are light weight aluminum and get the job done. I chose red for one grey and one silver (metallic grey) Cannondale touring bicycle ... looks nice. Add a tan Brooks B-17 saddle and Brooks tan leather handle bar tape and the cycle is dressed up ... admired by all whether a vintage '87 or a 2008.

I was unaware that this product didn't come with hardware to attach it to the bike - what a waste

Well if you did, or, purchase bikes like we did, from someone who obviously thought they could peddle so much faster without them... Your lucky day is here, cause these bottle holders are the REAL Deal. They are light, strong and look cool/sharp.

the wage cage looks good and is light weight but the seem joining one side of the rail is not even so it scratches the water bottle. I had to file down the seem and repaint the cage.

It's a straight forward cage. No gimmicks, no problems. Cheap. Does the trick.
