Reduces trihalomethanes, chemical chlorine by-products, asbestos, atrazine (herbicide), benzene, chlorine, MTBE, lead, lindane (insecticide), mercury and 2,4-D. Removes 99.99 percent of microbiological cysts, cryptosporidium and giardia. Leaves beneficial fluoride in the water. Filters are in perfect, sealed, new condition - box is slightly damaged/dented.

We've used a Pur faucet mount system for years, and I'm a fan. I like the convenience of always having filtered water on tap--I would get tired of constantly filling the pitcher & waiting for the water to filter through. (Ok, I'm a bit impatient!) Makes our water taste great, and this price for 6 filters is the best I've found.

The water tastes great.It's crisp and clean like it states.Filter last the 3 months for me.I'll run them over even when the indicator strip is at the end and I might squeeze another month out of it and the water tastes like you could probably push it a longer.This company sells filters there not going to tell you it's still 100% effective after there set indication.Just like buying food in the store most of the dates are quality dates and can be eaten we'll past them.

If you use PUR water filters, I do not need to sell you on this one. I looked all over town for a decent deal on these things and got lucky enough to find a 6 pack through Amazon. The price is great and well, the product...come on! It's PUR! Can't go wrong with PUR.
