17" Circular Bamboo Knitting Needles Set 14 Assorted Sizes

They are first sanded super smooth using the finest sanding paper. Then they are lightly hand rubbed with a thin layer of wax to improve the smoothness. While feeling super smooth, one can still sense the texture of bamboo. That makes them very different than lacquered needles. Needle points are uniformly shaped as shown in the picture. The price for this set is very reasonable, as long as you don't use the needles a lot. My size 6 needle's plastic cord broke on both ends. This is one of the needles I use the most, though I've only had the set for a couple of months. I could probably fix it, by removing the stub left on the end of the bamboo part and gluing the end of the cord back onto the end of the bamboo, but who wants to go to those lenghts? For the price, it might be worth it to try to fix it.

The craftsmanship is very good on these needles, the bamboo is smooth, and I have been happy with how they feel in the hand. The cord is also the right kind of flexible, not too floppy. I got the 17" and 24" sets and also the 7" DP set. They are even better after they've been used, because the oils from your skin tend to make the wood even smoother, which helps the yarn glide a little better. Overall, very very pleased with such high quality and such low price.

I purchased these because I was tired of running all over trying (operative word being trying) to find 16" circular needles when working on projects. They shipped very fast and are very nice needles. The string actually seems to be a bit heavier than the name brand circulars that I have and doesn't seem to curl on itself as much. I can't wait to order their set of double pointed needles.
