Braun 8000 360 Complete Foil and Cutter Block for Models 8995, 8985 and 8975

This replacement head made a huge difference in the quality of my husband's shave. He had put off replacing it, thinking it probably wouldn't make that big of a difference. Boy, was he wrong. It's just like having a new razor. It was also a good value.

These replacement heads work just fine on a Braun 8585 (which has the "Activator" system, whatever that is) in case anyone is wondering. I got a terrific shave after installing them on my 8585 today.
I replaced my original foil after 30 months of use, as the cutter finally wore through the foil leaving a hole. I do not shave every day, as I feel better with a day's growth, sometimes even two or three if it's a weekend. This probably contributed to the phenomenal 30 month life of the original screen. For some reason this foil was $5 cheaper than the "Activator" 8000 series foil, so I got it. Add to it Amazon's free shipping and 15% discount for Subscribe & Save and it is an unbeatable deal.

Change every ~6 months to get like new performance with your shaver. Braun suggests longer periods but I am willing to pay little bit for better performance.

I found the product to be asy to assemble and based on the almost daily shaving that I do I feel it is doing a good job and giving me a close, comfortable shave.
I seems better than the previos blades I have received from Braun.

I bought this as a replacement head to my Braum electric. Just like the old one, only fresh and sharp like a new one.
