Blitz 5 Gallon Self-Venting Gas Can #50833

Tip-resistant design. Rustproof polyethylene. Unique pour spout has attached stopper. Poly vent gives you improved flow control.
Review by J. Anzaldi from Pittsburgh:
Never seen such a poor design the nozzle will not fit in the car filler neck so you have to use a funnel which in turns defeats the automatic nozzle feature it will leak if you are not careful.
Review by Kris C. Wilfong from ozark mountains:
Self-venting my a**, they are non-venting. This means that they empty incredibly slowly. You end up holding about forty pounds up in the air for what seems to be an eternity, wondering what idiot designed it. I always keep the spout up on mine, not exactly safe for transport; but at least it doesn't leak gas all over the place. I would surely not want to carry this company's liability coverage.

Bought this exact can at a local store for less than 50% of what Amazon charges. Anyway horrible design. It spills gas everywhere when trying to fill the generator (which has a large mouth and open design). We had to get an extra tube from another can to avoid spillage. Anyway I would look for a real vented can which would prevent this mess.

The Blitz 5 Gallon Self-Venting Gas Can #50833 is a great way to cart fuel with you. The Self-Venting method is superior to other that I have used.
Review by JAC from Ellicott City, Maryland USA:
After reading several very negative reviews of this product, I decided to purchase anyway and see for myself. Based on past experience with Blitz products I didn't believe this self-venting can could be so poorly designed. Plus Amazon's price was exceptional.
Well, surprise, I've had none of the problems reported by others -- no leaks, no dribbling, nothing. It performs as one would expect. Of course you'll need a funnel to get gas into your mower, but that's expected. So my advise -- try it for yourself, and follow the instructions regarding how to install the nozzle.
