PUR Water Dispenser, Stage 2 Filtering System That Fits On A Shelf In The Refrigerator.

This item is a wonderful thing to have in the house. I bought this mostly because for some reason I will not just grab a glass of water from the tap to drink. I find myself either not drinking or having tea or juice. I am on a quest to drink more water. My tap water tastes good but this is fabulous. Basically tastes like nothing. I have been drinking much more water since I got it and am very happy with this purchase.

For a small family this water filter is great - it's size doesn't take up much room on a counter or fridge shelf, our water tastes great and our son is drinking more water - the main thing we wanted! Simple to use etc.

I loved Dasani since it had reverse-osmosis filtering. Did not like that I was paying premium for filtered tap water. Decided to try Pur to reduce plastic bottles and cost. I am completely happy. Pur is not as completely tasteless as Dasani but definitely more than acceptable. No smell and no particles. I love that my recycle bin is now much emptier each week.
The dispenser fits nicely in my side-by-side Kenmore and takes up much less space then I thought. Absolutely no drips once the faucet is closed. It comes with one filter and the 3-pack filter is a good buy on Amazon.

I bought this water filter system for my new condo. I love it, it works great, and the water tastes good too. :)

I used to be a die hard Brita fan but the water coming out of this filter system tastes much better. I also like the fact that it is cheaper than Brita and takes out more chemicals and bacteria than Brita. Amazon and Lowes have some of the best prices out there. I have a dispenser and a pitcher and that does well for a family of four. It takes about as much time between the Brita and Pur to filter the water but you have to follow the instructions on soaking a new filter and rinsing it out at the beginning or else it will be really slow. I am very satisfied with these easy filters.
